The department of Philosophy conducted a movie based activity to explore hidden ideas in popular movies. For this particular activity, we selected the 2009 movie ‘Avatar’ as a subject of discussion. We explored the ideas of consciousness and mind-body problems, as well as, the idea of Nature and climate change that is implicit in the movie.
A pair T test was conducted before and after the activity to measure the impact on the students. This was done using the deviation in opinion before and after the activity.
