A brief Report of the activity:
The students of the Geography Department of RPD College of Arts and Commerce actively participated in a seed ball sowing activity in Machche area of the city. The students led by department staff prepared a thousand seed balls containing Hulagal (Pongamai Pinnata) seeds following the guidelines given by the Department of Forest Government of Karnataka. The principal and staff of the college have appreciated and congratulated the students and staff involved for this activity sensitizing the students towards environmental responsibility. Sri. S. M. Kadolkar, RFO, Belagavi Taluka, Sri. M.B. Kusanal, RFO, Nagargali and Sri. Subhash Sherkhane Asst. RFO were instrumental in the implementation of this programme. Further, this is going to be an annual and regular event.
