A brief report of the activity: A guest lecture was held on 20 January 2017 by Department of English in A V Room of Gotge building. The main speaker was Prof. A. M. Mense, Principal, of G.S.S College. Prof. A. M. Mense spoke on the topic ‘Communism: Historical Background and Development. Sir explained about the basis which gave birth to the new ideology of communism. He also explained about the significance of the red flag of the communists. He even explained about the stages of development of communism. Sir also told about the book ‘Das Kapital’ authored by Karl Marx.. The gathering was welcomed by Dr. Mrs A. A Desai, H.O.D. Department of English. The vote of thanks was given by Mansoora Saraf, secretary, Ladies Association.
