A Brief Report of the activity: Marathi Bhasha Din Celebration, Inaugurated by Palakhi Pujan of Varkari Dindi by the hands of Shri Mr. Kiran Thakur , Chairman SKE Society, Dr. Madhuri shanbag Chair persons. Twenty Varkari people of village Kinaye and Village Santi Bastvaad were invited. & three sessions were organised on the theme of Marathi language and Culture. Dr. Randhir shinde, ( Head of the Marathi Department,Shivaji university, Kolhapur) Mr. Govind Patil A well Known Marathi Poet.
In K.M. Giri auditorium in the presence of Staff & Students of the College. On this occasion Shri kiranji Thakur Chairman SKE society & Dr . Madhuri Shanbag, Principal Dr.Shobha Naik, Dr. Abhay Patil. ‘Marathi Bhasha Gaurav Din’ was celebrated.
Objective and Outcome:
Students learnt to give importance of our own regional language and culture. Heritage of Marathi language and literature is promoted. We could build a bridge between students and village people through this programme. This programme tried to inculcate research in language and literature among students
