A brief report of the activity                      : Hindi Dept. of RPD College organises Shakun Vijay self-composedhindi poetry recitation competition every year in the memory of hindi poetess Late Smt. Shakuntala Heda. The competition is sponsored by the Heda family.In the view of Covid-19, the competition was conducted online. Total 11 Prizes (Amount Rs. 3200/-) were given. Dr. Jaishankar Yadav, Dr. Smt. Neelu Barigidad and Prof. Smt.Vishalakshi Patil were judges. 27 students participated in the competition.

1^st prize was bagged by Isha Savlaniof Mount Carmel College, Bangalore. 2^ndGayatri Dhananjay Singhof Lingraj College,Belagavi, 3^rdSyeda Hafsa, St. Joseph College, Bangalore. 8 consolation prizes of Rs. 200 each: 1)Sharvari Shridhar Karekarof GSS College, Belagavi 2) Pallavi Ajay Halkarniof RLS College, Belagavi3)Daniyaof Sheshadripuram College, Bangalore4) Basamma Gurayya Mathadof Lingraj College, Belagavi 5)Swati Nagesh Salunkhe  of BK College, Belagavi 6) Shraddha Donawadeof Angadi College, Belagavi  7) Swapnil Krishna Patil of RPD College, Belagavi 8)Mukta. Raibagiof Gogte College, Belagavi. All winners were awarded with cash prizes and certificates.
