A Brief Report of the activity: On the occasion of 124th Birth Anniversary of Varakavi Dr. D. R. Bendre the Department of Kannada and Library & Learning Resource Centre of R.P.D. College of Arts & Commerce had organized an exhibition. Books & wallpapers were exhibiting the contribution made by Dr. D. R. Bendre was displayed. The exhibition was organized on 29th, 30th & 31st January 2019 at R.P.D. Library ground floor study hall. The exhibition was inaugurated by Smt. Bimba Nadkarni Vice-Chairperson, R.P.D. Managing Committee and Member of SKE Society on 29th June 2019.
On Dr. D. R. Bendre’s Birthday 31st January, Lecture was delivered by Prof. A. A. Sanadi, Administrator, Bharatesh Education Society of Belagavi and function followed by ‘Bendre Bhavageet Gayan’ and ‘Bendre poetry recitation’ by BA, B.Com. & BBA students. The 15 students had participated in the function. In this exhibition more than 60 books were displayed. The students & Staff had visited to this exhibition in good numbers.
