A brief report of the activity :Department of sociology in collaboration with Computer Application department of RPD college organized a workshop on the “Practical usage of computers and internet in social science research and research paper writing” on Saturday 20th October 2018. Prof Rutuja Kamat of Sociology Dept. explained about the research process and stages as well as importance of computers in academic and non-academic fields. She also described how students can write research papers on local issues which can be presented in seminars and conferences.Prof. Sunita Bane illustrated various software and websites which can be used for research purpose at different stages of research. Students of BA I semester from Sociology and Computer Application dept. attended the workshop.
