The Eleventh “RPD Shree” Best Physique competition was organized on 25th September 2018 at RPD College. Mr. Venkatesh Tahshildar of B.Com-III bagged the eleventh “RPD Shree” title.
Mr. Nagaraj Chougule won the Best Poser award. Mr. Rakesh Patil an alumnus of RPD College won the second Mr. RPD title in the competition held exclusively for alumni. Mr. Neelkanth K N. received the Best Poser award.
The competition was jointly organized by the Department of Physical Education and sports of the college, RPD College Alumni Association in association with Belgaum District Body Builders Association(BDBBA). The event was inaugurated by garlanding the photo of lord Hanuman at the hands of Sri. Dnyanesh Kalaghatagi, Member of SKE Society and Treasurer of SKE Sports Academy. Dr. R.J.Powar the principal in-charge presided over the function. The secretary of the RPD College alumni association Sri. Gopal Mane, member Sri. Deepak Upadhye, Secretary of the BDBBA, Shri. Gangadhar and Ajit Siddannavar, international judge, and Shri. C. M. Munnoli, vice-president of Students’ Council were present on the occasion. Sri. Ramkrishna N. the director of physical education and sports welcomed the gathering.
The prizes were given at the hands of the Sri. Manoj Birje, Sri. Santosh Kalkundrikar and Sri. Shyam Goundadkar, staff members of RPD College, and office bearers of Belgaum District Body Builders Association and RPD College Alumni Association.
