A lecturer on “Save Western Ghats” was arranged on 04.08.2018 in BBA Department. Prof S.Y.Prabhu (Former Principal GSS College and Presently Member SKE Society Governing Council) gave an interesting pictorial talk on the importance of the western ghats for keeping Indian environment healthy and safe. He discussed in length about human interaction with nature and emphasised the fact, ” We human beings are guests on mother earth and therefore should lead life as guests without disturbing the nature”. The lecture was well received by the students and all have expressed over the knowledge gained by this programme.
