On the 9th of January 2018, Prof. C M Munnoli, HOD of History, and Prof. S L Bhangennavar, department of Kannada, accompanied 80 students of RPD College of Arts and Commerce to the Ramkrishna Mission, Fort,, Belagavi for a youth convention.
Three sessions were held
1. Swami of Kalati spoke on “Man as maker of his own destiny.”
2. Prof. K. Raghvendra, HRD Bangalore, spoke on “The way to success”
3. Swamiji of Ramkrishna Matt, Bangalore, spoke on “How to arouse Consciousness”
Followed by an interactive session where the students asked questions on memory, concentration, quitting mobile addiction, etc.
The students feedback of the conventions was positive.
