A brief report of the activity : As a part of “Green Belagavi Campaign” programme, the students along with staff members planted around 350 saplings in Ganeshpur Open Forest area and also pledged to look after these saplings. On this occasion Shri. M.B. Kusanal, RFO, Belagavi, emphasised on the importance of such tree plantation drives. He also made students to realise that trees are an effective way to prevent Global Warming and reduce pollution to maintain the Ecological balance. The program was witnessed by the staff members of Forest Department, Belagavi.
