It must make use of technology in the teaching because it’s a day of consumer and consumer is the king of the society. Mugging is good for scoring the marks but presentation skills are more important than bookish knowledge in life to survive, said the chief guest of the function Shri. R.V.Deshpande, Minister of small and medium industries of Karnataka. Further he added brain is the best computer and 21st century is the century of technology. The biggest challenge in this century is education and creation of jobs. He also said doctors and teachers professions are the two pious professions in the world. He said teacher must make the students capable in presentation skills where they can survive worldwide.
Shri.Lakham Sawant Bhonsle, the great grand son of Rajmata Rani Parvati Devi of Sawantwadi was the guest of honour of the function. He highlighted the achievements of Rajmata and paid tribute to her. Shri.R.D Shanbhag, president of the function, in his presidential remarks said SKE Society is facilitating the poor and the needy students for their higher education.
