A brief Report of the activity : A field study, under the guidance of Dr. A. M. Patil, HOD (Project In-charge), was organized for the final year students on the topic ‘Glimpses of Floriculture in Karnataka – With special reference to Orchid’. During the field survey the students visited a Poly-House of Orchids near Prabhunagar, Khanapur Taluka. As part of the excursion the students also visited a nursery of rose plant at Asoga.
