A brief report of the activity: The Department of English along with Additional English students of BA-I(2nd sem)visited the Deccan Herald Print Media office on 18th feb 2017. Mr. Raju Gavali, Correspondent of Deccan Herald gave information to the students regarding report writing, editing and the process about how to concise the reports. He also made the students get aware of the mistakes which take place while writing the reports. He showed some sample articles of the news reports which he has received. Students also visited the area where the printing machines are located .They observed the process of printing. They understood that in a short period of time thousands of news papers get printed. The students were guided by Prof. Arpana Patil, Department of English. Dr. R. J. Pawar, Department of Hindi helped in arranging the meeting and guiding the students.
