Prof. Hemangi Prabhu visited Pandharpur and she herself had an experience of the historical Vari in the month of June-July 2018, which she narrated to the students. Pandharpur is such a historical Marathi cultural pilgrimage where devotees of God Viththal visits in lakhs together each year. This practice is going on from ancient period. People from all over Maharashtra, Karnataka and Andhra Pradesh / Telangana travel the entire route by walk in groups to seek the Darshan of God Viththal at Pandharpur. People sing Bhakti songs, bhajans of Saints like Dnyaneshwar, Namdev, Tukaram etc. Whole world has its own curiosity that how it is managed and who controls it! Students were also curious to know about the world famous Vaari. They enjoyed this programmes which was based on cultural studies.
