LIBRARY SERVICES

  1. Home Lending: One library book is issued against Reader Ticket/ Borrower’s Card for the maximum period of 8 days.
  2. Reference: Books, Old Question Papers, Kindle e-books and periodical are issued against Identity card for reference within the library.
  3. Book Bank Scheme: Book Bank Scheme provides textbook sets for an entire semester for students under the following criteria –
      • needy and deserving students
      • SC/ST students
      • Meritorious students
      • Differently Abled students
  4. OPAC: Online Public Access Catalogue provides easy and quick access to library resources.
  5. Additional Card: Additional cards are given to advanced learners, students keen to read books and students preparing for competitive exam.
  6. Competitive Exams Book Section: A separate section of books for competitive examination contain more than 120 books.
  7. Information Deployment and Notification: All notices for students are displayed on the library notice boards. These include college notices as well as notices from other institutions. Newspaper coverage of information about career, competitive exams are also displayed.
  8. Display of New Arrivals: New books are displayed on the library notice boards.
  9. Newspaper Clipping: Newspaper clippings of college activities, college functions, staff and students achievements are maintained with the library office.
  10. Inter-Library Loan /MoU/Resource sharing: We share library resources with other institutions in the campus. Further, under MoU’s, we tie-up with other colleges for resources sharing.
  11. E-resources: E-books and E-journals are made available through N-List.
  12. Question Paper Repository: Previous years university question papers are made available at the circulation counter. The soft copy of the question papers are available on the college website, and can be accessed through QR codes displayed publicly in the campus.
  13. User Orientation and awareness: Library conducts user orientation and awareness programme for new students at the beginning of academic year.
