ABOUT THE LIBRARY

Rani Parvati Devi College Library is one of the oldest libraries with a rich collection of books capable of meeting the changing needs and demands of the present and future.

HISTORY

The library was first housed in the main office building of the RPD College in the inception years. In 1965, the present independent library building was constructed with a first floor to provide better facilities for the increasing student strength.

MISSION

The library is committed to providing quality service and an excellent collection of material to support the curricular, educational and research needs of students, faculty and the community.

LIBRARY COMMITTEE

The Library Committee has worked to formulate policies and procedures for efficient use of library resources, and to prepare the budget and proposals for the development of the library.
