A Brief Report of the activity: On behalf of Youth Red Cress Wing, a certificate course was organised on ‘Organic Farming’ for our students. The course was designed for 30 hrs in the month of May, which included theory and practical (field visit) for the better understanding of subject for students. All theory classes were taken by a progessiv organic farmer Mr. Piraji G. Mahut, Gurmati village, having sound knowledge and experience of organic farming. Practical knowledge of making manure and insecticides was given to the students during field visit.
Outcome of the programme: students learnt about the importance organic farming. They learnt the traditional chemical free methods of making good quality manure and insecticides, which improves the quality of soil and agricultural products.
