A Brief Report of the activity: Hindi Dept. of RPD College organises Shakun Vijay self-composed hindi poetry recitation competition every year in the memory of hindi poetess Late Smt. Shakuntala Heda (Shakun-Vijay) The competition is sponsored by the Heda family. The competition was conducted online in June 2022. 22 students participated in the competition. Total 11 Prizes (Amount Rs. 3200/-) were given. Dr. Jaishankar Yadav and Prof. Smt.Vishalakshi Patil were judges.
1st prize was bagged by Steffi Gama, GSS College, Belagavi. 2nd prize shared by Priyanka Patil, Bhaurao Kakatkar College, Belagavi & Fatima Yadav, K.L.E.S. CP College, Mahalingpur. 3rd prize shared by Aditi Avadan, Bhaurao Kakatkar College, Belagavi & Basamma Mathad, Lingaraj College, Belagavi.
6 consolation prizes of Rs. 200 each: 1) Jenika Oswal, K.L.E.S. CP College, Mahalingpur 2) Daniya, Seshadripuram College, Bangalore 3) Diya Dolekar, Bhaurao Kakatkar College, Belagavi 4) Swapnil Patil, Rani Parvati Devi College of Arts and Commerce, Belagavi 5) Deepak Patil, Sangoli Rayanna College, Belagavi 6) Aniket Chalavtekar, Bhaurao Kakatkar College, Belagavi. ll winners were awarded with cash prizes and certificates.
