CHAIRMAN
As per the direction of Hon. Commissioner, city Corporation Belagavi, the solid waste management committee of the college was formed for the academic year 2015-16 with the Dr.M.S.Kurani as Chairperson and Prof. Upadhaye as members. The main objectives of the committee is to create awareness among the students and staff members regarding the solid waste management in the campus premises and outside the campus.
• The solid waste management committee organized Campus cleaning programme on 15th Aug 2015 in association with the NCC Unit of the college. As many as 80 cadets participated in the programme.
• The Campus cleaning programme was organized on the eve of Swatch Bharat Abhiyana on 13th October 2015 in association with NCC.NSS,YRC units of the college.As many as 60 NCC cadets, 50 NSS, 20 YRC and 20 Scout and Guide Volunteers participated in the programme.
• A Street play programme was organized on 17th Oct 2015 in association with NCC Unit of the college at RPD Corner to create awareness among the public of Tilakwadi regarding segregation of solid waste in their houses.
• Rally was organized in association with NCC unit of the college on the occasion of swatch Bharar Abhiyana on 20th Oct 2015. As many as 60 cadets participated in the same.
• The Committee also organized a programme of Door to door collection of waste in the Tilakwadi area on 25th October 2015.
