A brief report of the activity : The dept of Political science conducted field visit to Kalasa Banduri water dispute site on 20th February 2020 as a part of study curriculum ie inter state water disputes between Karnataka Maharastra and Goa.a total of 25 students visited the site to understand the Kalasa Banduri water dispute.students understood the problem of why Goa and Maharstra government is objecting the proposed project by the govt of Karnataka to divert Mahadayi river water to Malaprabha through the canal and solve the drinking water problem of Dharwad, Hubli,Gadag,Navalgund Nargund etc.students visited the dam construction site to take stock of the situation.It was a very successful field visit.
