A brief report of the activity : The dept of political science arranged field trip to Banavasi,Yaana and Gokarna. Bavavasi is the oldest town in Karnataka state,and ancient temple town in sirsi.it was the ancient capital of the kannada empire Kadamba who ruled the entire Karnataka state.the first native empire to give prominence to kannada and Karnataka. students got the exposure of ancient state and its importance.s many as 30 students participated in the field trip and experienced the rule of ancient state system and their governance.
