A brief report of the activity :
On 24/7/2019 we conducted poetry recitation competition for students and Poet’s Meet with the collaboration of Vasant Vyakhyanmala, funded by Govt. of Maharashtra, Mumbai. It was inter-collegiate programme. And also the Town Public was involved in it. Mr. Ajay Kandar, a well known Marathi Poet from sindhudurg, was invited as a charperson of ‘पावसाळी कवी संमेलन’. Poets Shri. Basavant Shahapurkar, Mr. Shivaji Shinde, Smt. Urmila Shah, Smt Radhika Navalgund, Shri. Chandrshekhar Gaikvad, Mrs. Vijaya Urankar were invited to recite their poems. Also we conducted poetry recitation competition for Students at the same time. 10 Students participated in it. Mahadev Khot (Ist Prize – Rs.1500/-), Madhuri Bagave (IInd- Rs. 1000/-), Shubhangi Patil (III rd Rs. 750/-) Kshitija Patil (Consolation Rs. 500/-), Anjli Deshpande (Con. Rs. 500/-) won the prizes. Prizes were given by the hands of dignitaries of the dias. Smt. The Total number of the students, Staff and Public almost 150 took benefit of it. (We had kept 150 chairs in the hall and hall was full. And also we had kept register to sign)
