A Kannada movie on ‘Savitribai Phule’ who is regarded as the first lady teacher of India, which was being screened at Prakash theatre in Belgaum. The Ladies Association of the college organized this screening to understand the life of a great Indian social reformer . We encouraged students to participate in the activity and we got an overwhelming response from the students as nearly 146 students turned out with their names. The film was shown at a concessional rate of Rs. 30/- per student only. The film show was scheduled from 9 am to 11.30 am on 3 Oct 2018. Ms. Rutuja Kamat and Ms. Swati Hosurkar of Ladies association as teachers accompanied students to the theatre. The ladies Association Secretary from Arts and Commerce section as well as CRs took great efforts for the success of the event.
