South Konkan Education Society Commemorates Founders Day: 6 Aug 2018

The South Konkan Education (SKE) Society commemorated the Founders Day on 6th August 2018.

The Founder’s Day commemoration began in 2003 and is a respectful remembrance of the patriotic zeal and philanthrophy of men who contributed to the beginning and consolidation of the society. Today the society runs 18 educational institutions offering education from KG to PG.

“Our country, India has a unique mixture of ethical, cultural and devotional values. Keeping this vision in mind teachers need have to perform their duty and impart knowledge.Society cannot stand without sound knowledge. Hence, a teacher possessing knowledge, ideas and behaviour should stand as an example to imbibe in students the values”, said T.G. Krishna Bhat, Retd. Commissioner of Police, who was been invited as the Chief Guest on the Occasion of “SKE Society’s Founders’ Day Celebration. He spoke on ‘Building Values and Career Opportunities’.  The function began by expressing condolence on the sad demise of Late. Rani Satvasheela Devi Bhonsle, the daughter in-law of Rani Parvati Devi Bhonsle. Her son, Shri. Khemraj Sawant Bhonsle, who was the guest of Honour, expressed his views about the importance of education, and the contributions of his family in the field of education and social welfare.. Shri S V Shanbhag, Vice-chairman, SKE Society presided the function.
