The sports meet was inaugurated on 5th October by Smt. Latatai Kittur, Chairperson, R.P.D. College Managing Committee, with the hoisting of flag. The events began with the torch being lit and carried through relay by university blues. Various sports such as high jump, relay, running, discuss throw, volley ball, long jump, triple jump etc were conducted for a large number of students who participated and won the prizes. Visually challenged students of our college also participated in 100 metre sprint which is a historic record. The events were conducted in a Club system to increase competitive spirit among students. The Clubs formed were named after famous sports personalities such as Major Dhyanchand, PT Usha, Mary Kom, Sachin Tendulkar, P V Sindhu and Milkha Singh. All staff members &amp; students were present on this occasion.
