The NATIONAL ASSESSMENT AND ACCREDITATION COUNCIL (NAAC) is an autonomous body\u00a0established by the University Grants Commission (UGC) of India to assess and accredit\u00a0institutions of higher education in the country. As per the directives of the Council, it is mandatory for all colleges to establish an Internal Quality Assurance Cell which substitutes as a NAAC presence on the campus. In pursuance of the directions of the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC),\u00a0Bangalore, RPD College established the Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) in 2003. It has been working as a post-accreditation quality sustenance measure.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

The prime\u00a0objective of the IQAC is to develop a system for conscious, consistent and catalytic action to\u00a0improve the performance of the institution.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

  • Development and application of quality benchmarks \/ parameters for the various academic and administrative activities of the institution.<\/li>
  • Dissemination of information on the various quality parameters of higher education.<\/li>
  • Organisation of workshops, seminars on quality related themes and promotion of quality circles.<\/li>
  • Documentation of the various programmes \/ activities leading to quality improvement.<\/li>
  • Preparation of the Annual Quality Assurance Report (AQAR) to be submitted to NAAC based on the quality parameters.<\/li>
  • Organising Orientation programme for newly admitted students<\/li>
  • Organising orientation programmes for the Staff and the Administrative Staff.<\/li>
  • Administering Feedback Mechanism for the College.<\/li><\/ul>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
